Itasca had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Thursday. They walked away with a 48-38 win over the Lake Worth Bullfrogs. That's more bragging rights for the Wampus Cats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lake Worth's loss came despite strong showings from Bailey Jones and Aliyah Salas. Jones dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 rebounds, while Salas posted 17 points along with five boards and three steals. That was a full 44.7% of the Bullfrogs' points, marking the seventh time in a row Salas has put up more than a third of the team's points.

Itasca's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Lake Worth, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Itasca and Lake Worth will both be playing Western Hills the next time they take the court. The Bullfrogs will head out to face the Cougars at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday, while the Wampus Cats will play them later in the day, at 7:45 p.m.
