Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Alpine). They claimed a resounding 72-11 victory over the Anthony Wildcats. The Bucks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 20 points or more this season.

Leading Alpine to victory were Colette Fowlkes and Gyllian Morrissey. Fowlkes dropped a double-double on 17 points and 14 boards, while Morrissey went 6 for 12 en route to 15 points along with six steals and five rebounds. Those 17 points gave Fowlkes a new career-high. Makenzee De Leon was another key player, going 5 of 8 on her way to 10 points and five rebounds.

Alpine smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 28 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 14 consecutive games.

Alpine pushed their record up to 13-7 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.0 points per game. As for Anthony, they are on a 20-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-20.

Alpine has already played their next contest, a 66-59 victory against Kermit on the 21st. As for Anthony, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 57-18 loss against Tornillo on the 21st.
