Grafton is 2-8 against Tantasqua Regional since February of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Grafton Gators will head out on the road to square off against the Tantasqua Regional Warriors at 6:30 p.m. Both teams come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Grafton entered their tilt with Uxbridge with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Grafton walked away with a 63-53 victory over Uxbridge on Monday. 63 seems to be a good number for Grafton as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of points in their previous game.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Tantasqua Regional beat Millbury 55-49 on Monday. The win was all the more spectacular given Tantasqua Regional's disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 129th, while Millbury is ranked 25th).
Grafton's win bumped their record up to 10-3. As for Tantasqua Regional, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Grafton strolled past Tantasqua Regional in their previous meeting on January 3rd by a score of 60-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Grafton since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
