Despite the defeat, North Hills Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Miguel Kobe had 32 assists and one block.
Hercules' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5. As for North Hills Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 8-5.
Looking ahead, Hercules will head out to square off against Albany at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. After both having extra time off, North Hills Christian and Mare Island Tech Academy will shake off the rust and duke it out at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
