When it comes to explaining why West Milford lost, one person who can't be blamed is Avery Vacca. Despite the final result, she scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Adison Arciniega was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
West Milford's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Fair Lawn, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Milford will square off against Passaic Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
