The Naugatuck Greyhounds scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Kennedy with points to spare, taking the game 73-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Kennedy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Terrance Morrison, who scored 22 points along with five rebounds. Morrison hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Tyler Morrison was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five assists and four steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Naugatuck and bumps their season record up to 2-3. As for Kennedy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
Naugatuck will head out on the road to face off against Oxford at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Kennedy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Watertown is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
