They walked away with a 35-26 victory over Fort Bend Kempner. This was payback for Fort Bend Marshall, who suffered a 28-27 loss the last time these two teams met.
Fort Bend Kempner's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Bukola Komolafe, who scored nine points along with 13 rebounds, and Heaven Ferguson who scored 12 points along with three steals. Ferguson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last seven times she's played.
Fort Bend Marshall's win bumped their record up to 11-13. As for Fort Bend Kempner, they bumped their record down to 5-20 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
Fort Bend Marshall will take on Fulshear at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fulshear will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Fort Bend Kempner, they will head out on the road to square off against Terry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Terry is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
