The Logos Knights Crest put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against Prairie as Logos made off with a 66-40 win. The result was nothing new for Logos, who have now won seven matches by 26 points or more so far this season.
Jack Driskill continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 354 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 13.6 yards per attempt, and also rushing for 100 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Driskill is on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in the last six games he's played. Ben Carlson was another key contributor, picking up 125 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Several Pirates players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Noah Behler, who threw for 136 yards and three touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. The team also got some help courtesy of Trenton Lorentz, who gained 132 total yards and two touchdowns.
Logos' victory was their fourth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 8-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-7 Genesee and 1-6 Clearwater Valley (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 31.7% over those games). As for Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Logos does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Prairie is also done with their season.
