Drew Ross Delivers Electric Effort Vs East Allegheny
Starting off the list is Freeport's Drew Ross, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Ross rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, and also threw for 102 yards and a touchdown. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making five total tackles and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
The victory was the fifth in a row for Freeport, bringing their record for this year to 7-2. Ross and Freeport are on the road again on Friday to play Imani Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m.

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Zier Williams stepped things up a notch to give Deer Lakes the 'W'. Williams was unstoppable, rushing for 85 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, while also picking up 30 receiving yards.
If history really does repeat itself, Williams might just drop another big game when he faces off against Burrell on Friday. Williams rushed for 121 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries the last time he and the Bucs duked it out back in September of 2023.

Damarjae Warren Dazzles in East Allegheny Defeat
While East Allegheny might've come up empty on Friday, Damarjae Warren wasn't going down without a fight. Warren was dynamite, picking up 111 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, cutting upfield on a catch that went for 51 yards.
East Allegheny dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home. Warren and East Allegheny will head out to challenge Fox Chapel at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
