Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Cornerstone Christian at home against Meadowview Christian on Friday as the team secured a 72-6 win. The result was nothing new for Cornerstone Christian, who have now won six matches by 34 points or more so far this season.
Zeke Adams was a one-man wrecking crew for Cornerstone Christian as he rushed for 103 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 137 yards and three touchdowns while completing 100% of his passes. The team also got some help courtesy of Cohen Hewitt, who gained 109 total yards and two touchdowns.
Cornerstone Christian's win bumped their season record to 8-0 while Evangel Christian Academy's defeat dropped theirs to 2-5.
