Tareavion Mageo Has Career Rushing Day
Starting off the list is White Oak's Tareavion Mageo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Mageo rushed for 292 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.3 yards per carry, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an incredible 70 yards.
The win (which was White Oak's fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Mageo and White Oak will host Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Simco Posts Huge Game in 42-14 Win
Caleb Simco's big game helped extend Richlands's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Simco as he rushed for 230 yards on only nine carries, and also threw for 117 yards on eight of 15 attempts. Those 230 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.
Richlands' victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Simco and Richlands will face off against West Carteret at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Richlands Wins Seventh-Straight Thanks to Semaj Thompson
Richlands picked up their seventh consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Semaj Thompson. Thompson did his part (and then some), picking up five sacks and making 11 total tackles for the 'W'.
This year, Thompson has averaged 5.9 total tackles per game and for the season has 6.5 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one sack.

Montez Jimenez Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Friday, White Oak got the W thanks in part to Montez Jimenez playing the best football he has all season. Jimenez rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries, and also caught a touchdown.
Jimenez and White Oak will be playing in front of their home fans against Dixon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jimenez will face off against JJ Gulat, the Bulldogs' star rusher. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

Andrew Boucher Makes Top Five
Rounding off our Top Five is Andrew Boucher of Croatan. Boucher rushed for 45 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 38 receiving yards.
For the season, Boucher has run in 4 touchdowns while averaging 69 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 11.71 rushing yards per game.
