The Rock Bridge Bruins will head out on the road to challenge the Hillsboro Hawks at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Rock Bridge has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 861 points over their last 13 games.
Rock Bridge pushed their score all the way to 57 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Central.
Meanwhile, Hillsboro waltzed into their match on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They skirted past Notre Dame 71-68. Given Hillsboro's advantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Notre Dame is ranked 205th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Rock Bridge's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Hillsboro, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season.
