After a string of three wins, the Snow Hill Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Wicomico, falling 67-23. Snow Hill was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-8.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Wicomico to victory, but perhaps none more so than Se'Lah Foreman, who scored 23 points along with seven assists and six steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Foreman has scored at least a third of Wicomico's points. Gabrielle Corbin was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with six steals and five rebounds.
Snow Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Wicomico, their win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Snow Hill will take on Mardela at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Mardela comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 20 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for Wicomico, they will be playing at home against Washington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
