Doyle is a perfect 10-0 against Maurepas since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Tigers will head out to challenge the Wolves at 5:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Doyle sitting on 23 straight victories and Maurepas on three.
Maurepas' hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Monday: Doyle hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. The Tigers' pitchers stepped up to hand Family Christian a 10-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Tigers have won 14 games by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Kellie Haven looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. What's more, he posted three strikeouts, the most he's had over his last three matchups.
Doyle hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Maurepas got the win against False River on Saturday by a conclusive 15-0. The Wolves are also no stranger to big wins: their blowout was the 11th game they've won by 6+ runs this season.
Kade Penalber made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with two runs.
In other batting news, Maurepas got a massive performance out of Parker Crawford, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Alex Aime was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Doyle's record is now 26-1. As for Maurepas, their record now sits at 19-5.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Doyle has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Maurepas struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Everything went Doyle's way against Maurepas in their previous meeting back in March of 2025, as Doyle made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
