Mikey Johnson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 26 points along with nine assists and seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Huntington's points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Clark, who scored 27 points.
Despite the loss, Spring Valley still got an impressive performance from Clay Robertson, who scored 25 points along with four blocks. The contest was Robertson's 11th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Colton Caldwell, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Huntington is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Spring Valley, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-5.
