Liberty Christian Academy hasn't had much luck against Christ the Cornerstone Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Knights will be playing at home against the Defenders at 4:00 p.m. Liberty Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Liberty Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Christ the Cornerstone Academy, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over Antioch Christian Academy on Thursday.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jake Callahan, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Another was Drew MCkaskill, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances.
Christ the Cornerstone Academy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.
