Bourne will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Wareham at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the MaxPreps state rankings project a close matchup.
Bourne had to kick off their season on the road last Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 19-6 win.
Meanwhile, Wareham had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-42 loss at the hands of Old Rochester Regional.
Bourne's victory lifted them to 1-0 while Wareham's defeat dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Bourne can add another positive mark to their record or if Wareham can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Bourne's step.
