The Redwater Dragons lost against the Hooks Hornets back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Redwater was outmatched by the Hornets on the road and fell 93-45. Redwater was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-22.
Redwater's loss came despite strong showings from Tyris Crowell and Marquez Jones. Crowell dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds, while Jones scored nine points along with five rebounds and two steals. Crowell has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last six times he's played.
Redwater's defeat dropped their record down to 18-10. As for Hooks, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-1.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing De Kalb the next time they take the court. Hooks will head out to face De Kalb at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Redwater will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
