The San Marcos HomeSchool Panthers had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.7 points), and they went ahead and made it eight on Friday. They walked away with  a   58-48  win over Aggieland HomeSchool. Given San Marcos HomeSchool's advantage  in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings  (they are ranked 73rd, while Aggieland HomeSchool is ranked 313th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Marcos HomeSchool to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Kayla McGarity, who  dropped  a double-double on 17 points and 11  rebounds. McGarity hasn't dropped below eight  rebounds for seven straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Kendall Beck, who  scored 17 points along with nine  rebounds and three  steals.
 San Marcos HomeSchool pushed their record up to 20-4 with that  win, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points per game. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 25-8.
 San Marcos HomeSchool will be staying on the road  on Saturday to face off against FBCHA at 10:15  a.m.  on January 27th. As for Aggieland HomeSchool, they won't have much time to rest: their next  game is against Christian Homeschool Sports Ministries at 10:15  a.m.  on January 27th.
