Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hawley). They walked away with a 76-68 victory over the Breckenridge Cowboys on Tuesday. The win was some much needed relief for the Nuggets as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Hawley's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Breckenridge, they moved to 5-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hawley will take on Frazee in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Breckenridge and Barnesville will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Breckenridge knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Barnesville likes a good challenge.
