Wayland pushed their record up to 4-0 with the  victory, which was their fourth straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average this season. As for Whitehall,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 2-3.
 Looking ahead, Wayland will be playing at home against South Christian  at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Whitehall has  already played their next  contest (against Sacred Heart Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
