The Brownstown Bombers stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They blew past Webber 57-22 on the road. Brownstown pushed the score to 47-17 by the end of the third, a deficit the Trojans had little chance of recovering from.
Brownstown was led to victory by Lexi Seabaugh and Dayana Haslett. Seabaugh scored 12 points, while Haslett scored 13 points.
Several Trojans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Chloe King, who scored eight points along with two steals. Laney Hails was another key contributor, scoring three points along with four steals.
Brownstown's win bumped their record up to 24-7. As for Webber, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-24.
Brownstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Webber won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against the Movin Maroons at 6:15 p.m. on February 6th. Dieterich presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than the Trojans in Illinois (the Movin Maroons are ranked 284th, while the Trojans are ranked 627th).
