Hatch Valley suffered their closest loss yet this season on Saturday. They fell just short of Deming by a score of 57-55. Hatch Valley has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ruidoso's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Hatch Valley, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Everything came up roses for Ruidoso against Hatch Valley in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 as the team secured a 71-24 victory. With Ruidoso ahead 47-19 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
