The Robertson Cardinals posted their biggest victory yet this season on Friday. They breezed by Moriarty on the road to the tune of 67-30. That's another feather in the cap for Robertson, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Robertson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Liegha Lucero, who scored 11 points along with two steals. Alyxa King-Greenwalt was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Robertson now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Moriarty, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Robertson and Del Norte will face off at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Del Norte focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
