 Marley Audoma was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out seven batters over  seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off   seven  hits (and not a single walk). Those seven  strikeouts gave  her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
 Audoma wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Emma Figueroa, who  went 3-for-4 with one  RBI. The dominant performance also gave  Figueroa a new career-high in  hits (three).  Karly Romero was another,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
Poly's record is now 6-1. As for Santiago,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 1-4.
 Poly didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  match,  a  5-0  defeat against Orange Lutheran on the 21st. As for Santiago, they will host Arlington  at 9:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
