Lowcountry Leadership's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They blew past the Bridges Prep Buccaneers 13-2. The win continues a trend for the NaviGators in their matchups with the Buccaneers: they've now won six in a row.

Becky Gaskins was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Laylee Chesser, who scored a run while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances.

Lowcountry Leadership always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bridges Prep only posted an OBP of .375.

Lowcountry Leadership's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Bridges Prep, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lowcountry Leadership will welcome Charleston Math & Science at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Bridges Prep, they will be playing at home against Hampton County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
