Volleyball Recap: Okemos Wins Going Away Against Waverly + How To Watch

Okemos not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since October 7th (when they won 3-0). They blew past the Waverly Warriors 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Okemos walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-19.

Okemos can attribute much of their success to McKenzie Gunns, who had seven digs and two aces. That's the most digs Gunns has posted over her last three contests.

Gunns wasn't the only good servers: Okemos was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. The Wolves are 7-2 when they serve at least ten aces.

Okemos' record now sits at 13-17-2. As for Waverly, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 19 of their last 20 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-29-2 record this season.

Okemos has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against DeWitt on the 28th. As for Waverly, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Holt on the 23rd.
