Meanwhile, Overbrook scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They blew past John Bartram 79-58. Overbrook might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four contests by 21 points or more this season.
Overbrook's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Omar Davis, who scored 24 points along with five assists and five rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Davis has scored at least 25% of Overbrook's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tahmiere Manning, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and ten steals.
Franklin Towne's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Overbrook, their win ended a eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-4.
Fans should be in for an exciting game on Friday as the two teams are among the highest scoring teams in the league right now. Franklin Towne hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 54.4 points per game. However, it's not like Overbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 58.6 points per game.
