Baseball Recap: Labrae Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

LaBrae let Jackson-Milton stack six runs on them in the second inning on Wednesday but luckily LaBrae prevailed anyway. The Vikings came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bluejays, sneaking past 9-7. Winning may never get old, but the Vikings sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Alex Prouty was incredible, going 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Ethan Magoulick, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.

LaBrae's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. As for Jackson-Milton, they moved to 7-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, LaBrae will square off against Crestview at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jackson-Milton, they will take on Waterloo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluejays are facing the Vikings at the right time seeing as the Vikings are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
