The Lewisville Farmers''s and the Hebron Hawks''s matchup on Friday was close at halftime, but the Lewisville Farmers turned on the heat in the second half with 19 points. Lewisville put the hurt on Hebron with a sharp 32-10 victory. Winning may never get old, but Lewisville sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Lewisville's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Viron Ellison, who rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on only 13 carries. Ellison was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 51 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Terrell, who rushed for 30 yards and a touchdown.
Lewisville's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Hebron, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.
Lewisville will face off against Allen at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Allen is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. Hebron does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
