Clear Lake had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Dickinson Gators. The Falcons have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Gators, too.

Clear Lake pushed their record up to 14-9-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Dickinson, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Clear Lake will venture away from home to face off against Deer Park at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dickinson, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Brazoswood at 7:00 p.m. on April 4.
