After a string of ten wins, Winston Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Rossville Christian Academy Wolves. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Patriots have suffered since October 21, 2024.

While Winston Academy was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-16, 25-16.

Their offense was headlined by Jillian Sims and Caydie White, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Maggie Burns and her 11 assists.

Winston Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Winston Academy will square off against Regents at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Rossville Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against St. George's at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
