Shoreham-Wading River got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Sean Casey out in front who rushed for 123 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Casey was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 64 yards. Liam Kershis was another key contributor, rushing for 128 yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for Center Moriches on the road against Wyandanch on Saturday as the squad secured a 47-6 victory. The victory was just what Center Moriches needed coming off of a 41-14 defeat in their prior game.
Shoreham-Wading River's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 41.5 points per game. As for Center Moriches, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.
Everything came up roses for Shoreham-Wading River against Center Moriches in their previous matchup back in November of 2021 as the team secured a 70-13 victory.
