Orangeburg-Wilkinson is 7-1 against Brookland-Cayce since December of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. After a string of five wins, Orangeburg-Wilkinson's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 45-35 to Lower Richland.
Despite the loss, Orangeburg-Wilkinson had strong showings from Maurion Gordon, who scored eight points along with six rebounds, and Jeremiah Jacques, who scored six points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Brookland-Cayce can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 79-24 win over Swansea. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-9.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 19-6. As for Brookland-Cayce, they now have a winning record of 12-11.
Orangeburg-Wilkinson didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Brookland-Cayce in their previous meeting back in January, but they still walked away with a 34-28 win.
