Basketball Game Preview: Chattahoochee Cougars vs. Johns Creek Gladiators

The Chattahoochee Cougars will head out to square off against the Johns Creek Gladiators at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Last Tuesday, Chattahoochee came up short against Lanier and fell 45-38. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Brooklinne Dorr, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in November of 2024. Grace Harris was another key player, almost dropping a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Johns Creek, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They enjoyed a cozy 56-38 win over Seckinger on Tuesday.

Johns Creek's victory bumped their record up to 6-18. As for Chattahoochee, their loss dropped their record down to 11-13.

Chattahoochee beat Johns Creek 40-32 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Chattahoochee since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
