You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Colton and Culver. Colton were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Culver 51-0. Among those leading the charge for Colton was junior Wyatt Earls, who rushed for 160 yards and 4 touchdowns. One of the most memorable plays of the contest was Earls's 50-yard touchdown rush in the first quarter.
Meanwhile, Kennedy put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season. Everything came up roses for them against Gervais as the squad secured a 61-20 win. The success made it back-to-back wins for Kennedy.
Their wins bumped Colton to 5-1 and Kennedy to 4-2. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Kennedy and Colton will really light up the scoreboard.
