The First Coast Christian Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fourth straight loss. Their tough 54-34 defeat to Baldwin might stick with them for a while. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for First Coast Christian in their matchups with Baldwin: they've now lost five in a row.
Nyrie Gabriel was her usual excellent self, scoring 16 points along with six steals and five rebounds for Baldwin. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gabriel has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Memphis Perkins, who scored ten points along with three steals.
First Coast Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Baldwin, their victory ended a 11-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-11.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. First Coast Christian will take on Hope Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Baldwin, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against West Nassau at 6:00 p.m.
