The Octorara Area Braves will be playing at home against the Constitution Generals at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Octorara Area is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.
Even though Cocalico scored an imposing 57 points last Thursday, Octorara Area still came out on top. Octorara Area took their contest against Cocalico 69-57. Given Octorara Area's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 106th, while Cocalico is ranked 393rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Constitution strolled past Sankofa Freedom Academy with points to spare on Thursday, taking the game 73-54.
Perry Fields continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 13 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. Amir Speights was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Octorara Area pushed their record up to 11-1 with that victory, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Constitution, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4.
