Danilo Salgado was the offensive standout of the match as he scored 17 points along with eight steals. Those eight steals set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Cory Wong, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Mission's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Mission won't have much time to rest: their next game is against University at 6:00 p.m. on December 16th. One thing working in University's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lincoln at 7:30 p.m. on December 16th. Lincoln will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps California Rankings (they are ranked 735th, while Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory is ranked 240th).
