Baseball Recap: Newberg Beats Parkrose for Their Third Straight Win

Newberg put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Parkrose Broncos by a score of 4-1. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaleb Brockman looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

At the plate, Newberg's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ethan Johnson, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Newberg's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Parkrose, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Newberg will take on North Salem at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Parkrose, they will venture away from home to challenge Liberty at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
