 In other batting news,  Antonio Cooper was  incredible,  scoring three  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.  Shaariq Arrington was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing four bases while going 1-for-3.
 Gwynn Park has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record  this season. As for International High School at Largo, they are  on  a  14-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
 Gwynn Park will head out on the road to  challenge  International High School at Langley Park at 5:30  p.m.  on Friday. Gwynn Park is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12  runs per game  this season. As for International High School at Largo, they will be playing at home against Douglass at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. Douglass will roll in looking for their  13th straight  victory, something International High School at Largo surely won't give up without a fight.
