 Payton Dudra made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. That's the most  strikeouts  she has posted since back in May of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-3 with two  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Elly Rau and  Hailey Montie did most of the damage at the plate:  Rau  went a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs, one  stolen base,  and one  double, while  Montie  went 2-for-3 with one  home run and three  RBI. That's the most  RBI  Montie has posted since back in April of 2024.  Riley Veraghen also deserves some recognition as  she  got her first  hit of the season.
Bay Port now  has a winning record of 6-5. As for Sheboygan North, their defeat was  their fourth straight at home, which  dropped their record down to 3-9.
 Bay Port has  already played their next  contest (against Pulaski), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sheboygan North, they have also already played their next game,  a  16-14  loss against Manitowoc Lincoln on the 30th.
