Hamlin added to the longest winning streak in Eastern Coteau (9 Man) this week by beating Great Plains Lutheran, 56-0. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Chargers.
Hamlin took down the Panthers 56-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Kale Stieg ran for 119 yards in the win.
Austin Niemann made the biggest impact on defense this week as Jeff Sheehan's team beat Great Plains Lutheran. The 6-foot-0 junior forced 1 fumble and recorded 1 fumble.
Chase Bronson provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Wilmot defeated Waubay/Summit. He completed 5 passes for 77 yards and also ran for 198 yards.
Reid Valsvig put up the best numbers in passing as Webster bested Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah]. He finished with 4 completions for 45 yards and 1 touchdown.
The Wolves' Bronson and Logan Hammer led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Bronson has thrown for 582 yards this season, while Hammer has 13 catches for 298 yards. Deuel's Lance Eide leads the league in rushing yards with 707.
As it stands, the Bearcats are in second, while Clark/Willow Lake is in third.
The Chargers led the league in scoring this week by notching 56 points on Jeff Roloff's team. Stieg ran for 119 yards during the win.
