Starting off the list is Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s Mathias Wagner, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. On Friday Wagner rushed for 250 yards and six touchdowns on only 11 carries, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.

Stanton Wins 20th-Straight Thanks to Barrett Wilke
Barrett Wilke's big game helped extend Stanton's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Nobody could stop Wilke as he rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 105 yards and a touchdown on only six passes. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his 13th straight game with at least 124 rushing yards dating back to last season.
Wilke and Stanton are taking a road trip to challenge Laurel-Concord-Coleridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Wilke up against the Bears' star QB Gibson Roberts. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.

Becker Pohlman Turns in Another Game with at Least 102 Rushing Yards
Becker Pohlman was instrumental in extending Stanton's winning streak to 20 on Friday. Pohlman's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his fourth straight game with at least 102 rushing yards dating back to last season. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, picking up a sack and making five total tackles.
For the season, Pohlman has averaged 7.7 total tackles per game and for the season has 2 sacks. It gets even more impressive: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 14.57 receiving yards per game. This year he is averaging 27.43 receiving yards.

Karter Lingenfelter continued his hot streak on Friday by dropping his fourth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least two rushing touchdowns. He rushed for 62 yards and four touchdowns, and also threw for 194 yards on 16 of 28 attempts.
