Alexander went from 154 to 60 in the Texas state rankings since last week after going 4-1 in the past seven days.
Alexander boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.  On the season, the Bulldogs have allowed just 173 hits, while striking out 234 batters. Garcia leads the Bulldogs with 101 strikeouts in 66 innings pitched. 
Alexander's Garcia led the league with six hits this week. His 47 hits for the year are second in the league, and he boasts a .448 batting average.
