Washington County's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makayla Dunn, who scored 19 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Dunn has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamia Thomas, who scored seven points along with nine rebounds.
Washington County's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Putnam County, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-6.
Washington County will head out on the road to face off against the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Westside is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Putnam County, they will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Thomson is coming into the match hot, having won their last six games.
