After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Deer Valley, Thunderbird was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Northwest Christian Crusaders. For the Titans, this counts as revenge for the 3-0 win the Crusaders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March of 2024.

Alexander Kinder paced Thunderbird's offense, picking up 13 kills. Kinder got some help from Owen StClair and his 32 assists. Ethan Schlesinger controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Despite the loss, Northwest Christian still got an impressive performance from Brooks Martin, who had 30 digs and two assists. Martin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as he's now had ten or more in each of the last four games he's played. Trace Martin also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

As for Northwest Christian, they are taking a road trip to face off against Kingman at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
