Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Caney Valley). They claimed a resounding 79-44 win over the Erie Red Devils. With the Bullpups ahead 57-28 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Erie's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Reid Duff, who went 7 for 11 on his way to 20 points. Jaden Daniels was another key player, going 5 of 9 en route to 10 points.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Caney Valley, bringing their record for this year to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.5 points per game. As for Erie, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caney Valley will square off against Iola at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Erie, they will welcome Cornerstone Family at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
