The Bishop Moore Hornets will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against the Lake Mary Rams at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, Bishop Moore came up short against The First Academy and fell 67-58.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Justin Suarez, who scored 17 points along with five rebounds. Cameron Codio was another key contributor, scoring 16 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Lake Mary's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They fell to Lake Brantley 66-62.
Bishop Moore's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 10-7. As for Lake Mary, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-10 record this season.
Bishop Moore was able to grind out a solid victory over Lake Mary in their previous matchup back in December of 2022, winning 78-68. Does Bishop Moore have another victory up their sleeve, or will Lake Mary turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
