Tiara Tyson was her usual excellent self, scoring 34 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Tyson is crushing the point category: she's posted at least 16 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Elise Ryan, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and four steals.
Manchester's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-7. As for Avon, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-9.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manchester will challenge the Eagles at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Enfield is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Avon, they will head out on the road to square off against the Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Northwest Catholic will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.
